"About ten years ago, when my three daughters were in the midst of their teen years and moms sometimes bear the brunt of their insecurities, my dear friend and Pastor, Kathy Hoffman, invited me on an all women back packing trip in Montana. 19 of us ended up going on that first trip. We spent 4 days and nights up in the Gallatin Mountains with nothing but what we could carry on our backs. Nothing empowers a woman like standing up on a cliff and watching the Eagles soar below you, or walking with a friend and learning about the struggles they have and the courage they have found to make it through or walking around a corner and coming face to face with a moose. I realized that I had a lot more strength and courage than I gave myself credit for. That experience was also good for my three impressionable daughters. They saw Mom go on a trip they were sure they could do. Since that trip, I have gone on two separate Voyager Canoe trips, one where we built the canoe, have gone to Surf Diva school and have taken other trips with girl friends for rest and renewal. What a gift each adventure is!"

“There is no question I found my inner goddess through the birth of my two beautiful daughters. An honor and a privilege only bestowed upon women! From the humility that washed over me at the time of their births, to the pride that overwhelms me now as I look at what amazing young women they have become. I am truly a goddess with endless gratitude!!”
